After the weekend away in Ypres in 2011, it was suggested that a plaque in memory of OMs who gave their lives in the First World War should be added to the many others in St George's Memorial Church in Ypres. This was met with an enthusiastic response. Thus it was that on Sunday 28th April 2013 a service of dedication took place as part of a second weekend visit to Ypres.
The weekend began on the Friday evening when the President laid a wreath at the Menin Gate Last Post Ceremony.
On Saturday, small groups visited those graves close by and laid poppies.
And on Sunday, Father Brian Llewellyn led the dedication service, when he blessed our memorial plaque.
