AGM and Closure

The final Annual General Meeting of the Club, postponed from 2020, will take place on Friday 22nd October 2021 at 1:00 pm in Barnard's Inn.  This replaces the 2020 meeting that was cancelled.

Everyone is welcome to attend.  You will receive an invitation in the form of an Agenda, either by email or by post towards the end of September.  If you wish to stay afterwards for the buffet lunch in the Headmaster's Study, then please ensure you let the Secretary know beforehand with your payment.

Most matters to be discussed will follow the pattern of previous years, but one sad, but new and important agenda item stands out - "That the Old Mercers’ Club is formally closed from this day forth, 22 October 2021 at 18.00, and that the Committee Members, the Officers and the Trustees are relieved of their duties".

Details and minutes will be published in the final edition of the Magazine.  Although this meeting may seem dull, it is in fact quite the opposite, with a mercifully short formal meeting being followed by a mercifully longer buffet lunch in the Headmaster's study,  We hope that as many Old Mercers as possible will attend this year, our final year.
